Docks are kept in good shape. Always a empty space. It's a quiet relaxing place

Feels like you’re on vacation. But you’re still close to town. Great year round youth sailing program and summer camps on the water. HYC is not affected by the HWY 146 / Kemah bridge construction, unlike almost all the other marinas / clubs. Still easy to drive to. Still easy to be on the bay minutes after leaving the dock.

Great view, awesome staff, spectacular sailing events, and good food. This is a real gem nestled on the bay in Laporte near Kemah. They also have a great year round sailing program with really good coaches.

Makes me happy just thinking of my time at HYC. Amazing women and sailing program, so much fun with the people here. We live nearby and enjoy the food and fun!

Best regatta food I’ve ever had! Drinks and meals were very affordable - drinks are strong and food is excellent. The staff is friendly and efficient, bathrooms clean, pool and grounds immaculately maintained.
